Office renovation planned around operation and maintenance
An office renovation must support the way the organisation actually works. Layout, meeting rooms, acoustic privacy, lighting, ventilation, power and data infrastructure should be coordinated before finishes are selected. Otherwise, visually attractive work may still create overheating, noise, insufficient sockets or difficult maintenance access.
PNV Construction Group renovates offices in existing buildings and new commercial premises. The scope may include a full fit-out, phased renovation while part of the office remains operational, or a defined package of construction and engineering work.
What we assess
- existing partitions, floors, ceilings and the condition of hidden services;
- space planning, circulation, accessibility and furniture zones;
- electrical load, data cabling, backup power and equipment locations;
- ventilation, cooling, heating and indoor-air requirements;
- acoustics, fire-safety interfaces and access to serviceable equipment;
- durability and cleaning requirements for finishes.
Work sequence
After the survey, we agree drawings, quantities, responsibilities and the programme. Demolition is followed by verification of the exposed structure and utilities. New services and framing are tested before they are concealed. Finishing stages are protected from later heavy work, and the completed premises are checked against the agreed drawings and snagging list.
